Algarve Wine Region

The Algarve wine region is located south of mainland Portugal. We can synthesize the type of wines from this region with three adjectives: soft rosés, good whites and balanced reds.

The Vinho Verde Region represents 15% of the Portuguese wine area, making it the largest demarcated area in the country and one of the largest in Europe.
