TAPADA DO CHAVES OLD VINES WHITE
Producer notes 2008
Arinto, Assario, Fernão Pires, Tamarez and Roupeiro.
Manual harvest from the old white vine planted in the tapada in 1903. Manual selection of the grape, carried out berry by berry, which allowed to obtain high control in the qualitative homogeneity since the beginning of the production process.
The grapes were pressed, followed by clarification of the must by gravity - using the traditional low temperature method. Fermentations took place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature and using neutral yeasts, thus preserving the typicality and expression of the terroir.
In bottle for 24 months.
Straw color, citrus. Complex and intense aroma, with notes of tropical fruit and dried fruits. In the mouth it is full and exuberant, dominates the complexity and the very elegant ripe fruit, with a vibrant and fresh acidity. Harmonious at the end, intense in the fruit and persistent.
