Aragonez, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet.
Manual harvest from the various plots in Tapada between 350 and 400 meters of altitude. Manual selection of the grape, carried out berry by berry, which allowed to obtain high control in qualitative homogeneity since the beginning of the production process. This was followed by total destemming, cold skin maceration for 5 days and natural fermentation carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Post-fermentative maceration of 30 days, preceding aging in barrels with spontaneous development of malolactic fermentation.
Strong garnet color. Very fresh and intense aroma, highlighting wild fruits, jam and some balsamic notes. In the mouth it presents great structure, with robust tannins, volume and firm acidity, with notes of forest, rockrose, red fruits and some truffle. Complex and elegant finish, with persistent fruit and complexity.
For 12 months in Portuguese and French oak, followed by 24 months in bottle.
