Charamba 2011 - Red Wine
Region: Beiras - Portugal
Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz
Winemaker: Manuel Soares
This wine results from the selection of the finest grapes of the Douro Region. After the grapes have been destalked and softly crushed, they go through a maceration and fermentation process in stainless steel, temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is then aged in oak and then in the bottle for around 6 months.
With an attractive ruby color, Charamba Tinto presents a very fruity nose, with notes of blackberries, raspberries and spices. In the mouth, this wine stands out for its elegance and smoothness, persisting the fruity notes at the end of mouth.
